MYTH's been around the block a few times since its debut in July 2008 so it's time to make some changes and shake things up a little bit. MYTH's logo has always been a little on the weak side so for our next contest we are doing a "MYTH: New Logo Contest!"
What's that you ask?
Simple - you design a logo that is representative of my style, my brand and my designs and I give you 5k lindens and plaster your beautiful work of art everywhere for all to oooo and ahhhh at.
For this contest I just want a logo that is simple and effective. It needs to be able to look good on a transparent background and on a solid background. It has to be playful and fun and if possible - colorful - but tasteful!
A little hint that might be helpful is that I have been trying to corporate the apple theme into my brand (Aphrodite and the apple in mythology- all a part of the brand.) You do not have to use that but it MIGHT work in your favor :D

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Create a Logo
2. Upload the picture on Flickr and Title it MYTH Logo Contest - Your Name - Pic#(1,2 or 3)
3. Submit it to .::MYTH::. Logo Contest flickr group. Link to the webpage is provided. (you must join flickr to do this) http://www.flickr.com/groups/1260398@N20/
and that's it!
RULES:
1. The work absolutely must be yours! If you use any stock photos you must show proof that you purchased those photos and have rights too them!
2. It MUST be original. Come up with your own idea not someone else' please!
3. You may submit 3 logos for the entire duration of the contest.
4. You must submit the logo to the .::MYTH::. Logo Contest flickr group (link provided above)
And that's all I can think of for now.

Now for the legal stuff.......
To avoid all the legal jargon I will put this simply. When you submit a logo to the group you No longer have rights to that logo! You can use it in your portfolio or use it as a sample of your work or show friends, but you may not reuse it for any other purpose such as another clients or another logo for someone else.
If your logo wins it will become the new logo for MYTH and will be plastered anywhere and everywhere. We really want to maintain our originality!
However, I promise I will give credit to the designer of any logo I use whenever possible.
Short and sweet - I will own ALL rights to the logo no matter what, even if I make millions of dollars off of it mmkay??
